Synchro Celebrates at ICT Excellence Award 2009

11 November 2009 -- Coventry, England -- Synchro Ltd has left stiff competition standing to be highly commended at the ICT Excellence Awards 2009.

The growing and successful Coventry based company was highly commended in the "Best Innovative Product" category for its Synchro Professional technology.

The judges were impressed by Synchro's advanced 4D (3D plus scheduling) system and visual simulation approach to project scheduling, planning and management of construction projects.

Synchro Professional provides complete construction visualisation, project scheduling, advanced risk management, synchronisation with design changes, supply chain management and cost allocation for comprehensive, virtual construction simulation. Synchro Professional enables consideration of alternative scheduling options, resource allocation and time and cost savings to be evaluated.

Synchro Professional enables users to define and communicate to their entire construction project delivery team what, when and where work is occurring on a project. The product can work either standalone – managing the project model independently – or in combination with Synchro Server in managing collaborative access to a centralised project model.

Synchro Professional supports 3D CAD file imports like Autodesk and Google SketchUp with the scheduling system to enrich 3D models with delivery data from the critical path schedule, supply chain, project monitoring and communicating the project delivery approach. Synchro's construction simulation software adds more certainty and innovation to project management.
