Hands On Small Group Training
Synchro PRO 4D Construction
FUNDAMENTALS & ADVANCED
Our group training courses provide a thorough understanding of our products and platform and point users to the resources needed for them to excel with Synchro. Courses are delivered by Synchro Project Delivery Team, a group of global Synchro experts who are closely working with top-ranked general contractors around the world. The team’s background is primarily in CM, scheduling and engineering – so we speak the same construction language as you!
Courses include an overview of the Synchro platform with focus on PRO. Attendees can obtain certificates as Synchro Certified User and/or Synchro Advanced User upon passing the assessment on Synchro Academy.
Fundamentals: Day 1 and 2 have an emphasis on the fundamentals of PRO and the basic 4D workflow which includes importing of 3D models and schedule, creating Resources from 3D objects, creating appearance profiles and assigning Resources to Tasks.
- Topics such as automatching, model-based scheduling, creation of baseline and Synchronisation, animation of equipment and workspace will also be covered. Attendees will be able to create outputs from PRO including exporting animation and 4D snapshots at the end of the Fundamentals course.
Minimum Requirements to attend Fundamentals Course:
The Synchro Fundamentals course does NOT require previous Synchro experience but attendees should have a basic understanding of construction, scheduling and/or modeling.
Advanced: The Advanced course features a series of scenario-based advanced topics to enhance awareness of powerful features in PRO, e.g. project template file setup, advanced filtering, calculated user fields and scripting, 4D review, running PRO for project meetings, and monitoring resource statuses via mobile app. The Advanced course is relatively fast paced compared to Fundamentals.
- If time permits, attendees can focus on their own project data and discuss and receive recommendations from the trainer and will also cover any topics not previously included.
- Attendees will get a chance to experience Synchro SITE and Synchro Workgroup project (SWP).
Minimum Requirements to attend Advanced Course:
- Has completed Synchro Fundamentals training course and passed the Synchro Fundamentals Exam, or
- Has previous hands-on experience using Synchro PRO for at least one month, or
- Has used most Synchro Fundamental features (see Synchro Knowledge Assessment form for a list of Synchro Fundamental features) on project(s)
